- Acooperation agreement between JAMS and Talal Abu Ghazaleh Prof. Training Group was signed on Feb. 5th,09 whereby JAMS undertakes designing and rolling training programs in the field of marine transportation industry in Jordan and abroad.
- The maritime safety committee confirmed during its 84th session meeting that Jordan
shows full and complete effect to the provisions of the 1978 STCW convention, as amended.
- Bilateral agreement in accordance to STCW Reg.I/10 has been signed at Amman on 5/6/2008
between the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- An Agreement was signed for joint cooperation in the field of maritime education and training between the Roads and Transport Authority - Dubai and Jordan academy for maritime studies.
- The Academy celebrated the graduation of (34 students) the third batch of the basic studies.
