Overview
Established in May 2017, the Marine Electrical Engineering Department prepares Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) to meet local, regional, and global demand. Our programs comply with STCW 1978 (as amended)—including the ETO standards—and align with IMO Model Courses.
Learning combines classroom study with practice in engineering workshops, electrical/electronics labs, and integrated engine/bridge simulators. Faculty include licensed marine electrical engineers (ETO) and university academics (MSc) engaged in continuous professional development. Teaching is offered on-campus and in blended/online formats, supported by modern learning aids and robust quality assurance.
