Course Description
The objective of this course to be able to fix positions and analyse in a practical way the quality of the fix, make great circle calculations, read tide tables and predict times and heights of tides at different ports worldwide. Officers will be thoroughly conversant with the content, application and intent of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG 1972), as amended.
