This program is accredited by the Jordan Maritime Commission (JMC) in accordance with the STCW 78 Convention, as amended. it allows the trainee to develop knowledge and skills in navigation, safety and the protection of the marine environment as deck officer on a seagoing vessel.

Requirments
• General Secondary School Certificate (scientific, I.T., literary, industrial) or equivalent, (must be endorsed by Jordan Embassy of your country & Ministry of Education at Jordan).
• Certified copies of either the identity card or the birth certificate.
• A Photocopy of passport.
• 2 personal photographs (4*6).
• Medical fitness report
• A Photocopy of the postponement of military service document (for Jordanians only).

Accommodation is optional in JAMS hostel in single room and double room.
Passing the Marlins English exam with at least 60% is a prerequisite for graduation from studies. The exam results are valid for 24 months.
Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
As for general courses fees will be refunded in case of withdrawal before the set date of the course, but in the case of custom-built courses, fees are refundable if cancellation is notified one week before the set date. Otherwise, agreed-upon fees will be chargeable.
