Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies (JAMS) is proud to announce the successful completion of its external Quality Management System (QMS) audit against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, conducted by the internationally recognized classification and assurance body DNV on 4 June 2026.
The audit concluded with zero nonconformities of any kind and yielded highly positive results, reflecting the Academy’s mature quality management practices, effective operational controls, and strong commitment to continual improvement. This achievement further demonstrates JAMS’ dedication to maintaining the highest international standards in maritime education, training, consultancy, and organizational excellence.
External audits represent an important validation of the Academy’s quality-driven culture and its systematic approach to planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement across all areas of operation. The outcome reinforces the credibility and value of the Academy’s educational and training services and strengthens the reputation of its graduates and trainees both nationally and internationally.
It is worth noting that JAMS established its first Quality Management System in 2006 and has continuously enhanced and developed it under the supervision of its team of internationally certified auditors and quality professionals.
