Poetry and Cultural Seminar

 

The Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies organized, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, a poetry and cultural seminar at the main auditorium, organized by the Admissions, Registration, and Student Affairs Department, with distinguished participation from the Academy’s students and staff.
The event featured several outstanding student contributions, most notably from student Awwab Al-Refaie and student Alhassan Othman Oshik. It was also attended by a number of academic and administrative staff members, in addition to contributions from Engineer Ali Abduh, Mr. Mahmoud Saeed, and Chief Officer Malek Al-Mubarak.
This event comes as part of the Academy’s commitment to supporting literary and cultural talents, and providing students with the opportunity to express their creativity and develop their skills in poetry and public speaking.
The seminar included a variety of poetic performances presented by the participants, reflecting a high level of creativity and expressive ability, and receiving notable engagement from the audience.
The event also featured an interactive segment that included a number of cultural questions, which witnessed wide participation from students. Symbolic gifts were distributed to participants, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive engagement.
The Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to organizing such events, which contribute to developing students’ abilities and enhancing the presence of culture and creativity within its educational environment.
