The Academy Organizes a Training Course on

“Port Facilities Security Officer”

Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies (JAMS) has organized a training course on “Port Facilities Security Officer” for a distinguished group from “ROCK for Security Services and Consultancy” which lasted for a week during the period June 7-11, 2026.

The participants who were chosen according to professional criteria, showed interest and interaction as they received new knowledge and skills in the area of port facility, risk management and security.

All participants passed the exams and, therefore, were granted special certificates in a party held at the end of the course and attended by Dr Hamza Massad, Assistant Manager for Training and Financial Affairs, and by Dr Nayef Rahamleh Financial and Management Manager of Rock for Security Services and Consultancy.”

Both sides confirmed the importance of investment in qualifying and developing Jordanian Security cadres.

This program was held within the frame of cooperation and partnership between the Academy and the Rock which aims at developing national competencies and to satisfy the needs of professional, local and regional requirements.
