Within the work of the Jordanian-Saudi Technical Committee for Maritime Transport Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies received the Saudi Delegation

Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies welcomed an Official senior delegation from The Transport General Authority and Mawani from Saudi Arabia headed by Captain Abdulrahman AlThanian, The Undersecretary of the Transport General Authority for Maritime Transport, and some senior officials in authority. Prof Mustafa Massad, the President of Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies, received the delegation with some JAMS Officials.

JAMS viewed a presentation about the Academy’s services and education and training programmes as the first Maritime Education and training institution in Jordan and the sole provider for these services.

JAMS emphasized the profound relationship between the two countries. The Academy has received hundreds of students from Saudi Arabia and more than three thousand students and trainees during the recent period.

The delegation visited the main facilities as

  • The Tug simulator (the only one in Jordan).

Navigational Simulators, Communication Simulators

Engineering Simulators,

High Voltage Simulator,

Engineering Workshops

Automatic Control Lab

English Language Centre and Marlins Test Centre.

  • The Academy owns an educational and training platform, and the Cloud Simulators are available to its students and trainees as one of its special education services.

Management consultancy services for various institutions in the Arab Countries to provide the Maritime Transport with the best trained and qualified personnel that complies with quality in all stages.

  • The essential teaching aids and academic practices are used to enhance the theoretical side with the practical one as strategies and outcomes of training and Education in the Academy.It is agreed between the two parties to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the various frameworks as Education, training and other sharing knowledge, which contribute to strengthening the Arab maritime sector as a strategy to be applied on the ground.
