terms of taking precautions to prevent risks on ships governed by the code, especially in occupational
health and safety and thus be able to carry out a concrete response to emergencies that may arise. The
course also prepares personnel to prevent environmental contamination due to the discharge of fuels
found on ships governed by the code and thus minimize risks to the ship, crew, and damage to the
environment, always taking into account the nature of the fuels used.
